Sensory Notes:  A vibrant and alluring Pinot, the 2016 Jenkins Vineyard Pinot Noir offers aromas of cranberry, pomegranate, candied raspberry, rose and spice. The red berry flavors continue on the palate, where layers of wild strawberry, raspberry and bright cranberry are underscored by sophisticated hints of sassafras, cigar box and spice.

Winemaking Notes: After a long growing season, the Jenkins fruit was picked at night in mid-September, hand-sorted and placed into tank for a five-day cold soak. During the cold soak, one pump-over was performed each day, with two pump-overs during fermentation. The wine was aged for 11 months in French oak, 40% of which was new.
