To mark the close of harvest, we’re offering a rare collection of our 2017 Barrel Select Zinfandels: Block 10, Trot + Follow, and Barrel 32. Together, they tell the story of a remarkable vintage.

The Wines:

2017 Barrel 32 Zinfandel | 93 Points, Jeb Dunnuck and Wine Enthusiast
This wine received 93 points from Jeb Dunnuck, who noted its “fresh black plum, lavender, and dried apricot” and called it “fleshy and full.” Wine Enthusiast also awarded it 93 points, describing it as “mouthfilling with blackberry and grilled beef flavors wrapped in firm tannins.”
 

2017 Block 10 Zinfandel | 93 Points, Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast
From one of our most expressive hillside sites, Wine Advocate awarded it 93 points, praising its “layers of spicy fruit and a long, fresh finish.” Wine Enthusiast, 93 points, highlighted its “bold, ripe blackberry and raspberry flavors on a smooth, full body.”
 

2017 Trot + Follow Zinfandel
The third piece of this vintage trio – balanced, structured, and deeply complex – rounds out the set with grace and power. Dark fruit and spice weave through the palate, revealing layers of blackberry, cocoa, and earth. A true reflection of Lily Hill’s rugged charm and the strength of the 2017 vintage.
