As you drive up to Bella, you’ll see Florence Vineyard on your right just before the Peña Creek bridge. The vines were cultivated from cuttings of the St. Peter’s Church clone taken from Jack Florence’s famous Rockpile Ranch, which produce extremely small berries that deliver intense flavors. The 2021 Florence Vineyard zinfandel’s ruby gemmed-hue shows the beauty of Florence from first sight to final sip. Violets and brambly black raspberries lead to a satiny-textured wine that can drink now and through the rest of this decade.
