Fruit was picked between September 8th and 30th, destemmed and placed into closed-top tanks, wiht the exception of grenache which was placed into open-top tanks and was punched down twice daily by hand. Following primary fermentation, the wine was aged in 15% new oak, 85% neutral and second use (90% French, 10% Hungarian) for 18 months before being blended and bottled.
Tasting notes: Aromatics have softened over time, beginning with alluring savory notes of tobacco, cedar cigar box, and wild dark fruits. A silky, rich texture with notes of wild sage merges tannins, fruit and acidity on equal levels to finish incredibly long.
