2015 Two Patch Alexander Valley zinfandel  

Varietal: 96% zinfandel, 4% petite sirah

Appellations: 84% Dry Creek Valley, 16% Russian River Valley

Sensory Notes: Luxurious, lingering and beautifully complex, this wine offers flavors of black cherry, strawberry, spiced red fruit, nutmeg, and licorice. On the palate, the generous fruit is supported by soft, elegant tannins that carry the wine to lingering fruit and spice finish.

Vineyard Notes: Two Patch is grown on two prized "patches" of exceptional vineyard land from our own Lily Hill Vineyard and from Big River Ranch. We have been working with these iconic zinfandel sites for decades, and have learned their sweet spots, while also discovering how beautifully their wines work together as a blend. 80% of the zinfandel for this wine along with 4% petite sirah came from Lily Hill, with the remaining zinfandel sourced from Big River Ranch.
