2013 Hillside Cuvee Alexander Valley red wine

Varietal: 59% syrah, 17% grenache, 10% petite sirah

Appellation: Sonoma County

Sensory Notes: Dark and luxurious notes of cocoa and dried fruit intermingle with toffee and blackberries. Vanilla and cedar lead into juicy, chewy tannins and a long, structured finish.

Vineyard Notes: The Hillside Cuvée is a blend from our two estate properties: Big River Ranch, with its deep red soils and hot summer days befitting for syrah, and Lily Hill Estate, whose steep hillside allows for substantial drainage and beneficial stressing of the vines. Together, these vineyards exhibit the climate and terroir needed to produce exceptional zinfandel and Rhone varietals.
