Sensory Notes:  As this wine has aged it has softened the aromatics to dried cherries, dried rose petals, forest floor, cassis, and toasted walnut. With age the chewy tannins have evolved into a velvety mouthfeel with just a touch of acidity, making this a seductive wine perfect to enjoy on crisp fall evenings.

Vineyard Notes: The Jenkins Vineyard, planted by vineyard manager Charlie Chenoweth in 2001, lies where the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast growing appellations converge. Cool coastal influences combined with sunny afternoons create ideal growing conditions for top-quality pinot noir. Three different pinot noir clones were inter-planted to increase the complexity of the wines produced on this Russian River Valley ranch.
