Sensory Notes: Fresh wild strawberry and guava aromas lead into floral notes with a soft, rounded mouthfeel and a vibrant finish that makes for a very food-friendly rosé.
Winemaking Notes: After hand picking pinot noir fruit from our Russian River Valley vineyards, we allow the juice and skins to interact in tank for a 3-day cold soak. We then drain off about three percent of the juice for our rosé. Thus, the resulting rosé is a blend of our finest pinot noir vineyards. The juice is then fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels, which gives the wine depth and added complexity. The wine did not go through malolact fermentation, preserving it's bright acid profile.
