Our 2004 Big River Petite Sirah is a marvel of inky dark color and bold flavors that are held together by a luscious, round finish. It's an intense wine, with the power to go head to head with any savory roasts and big blue cheeses. Sweet vanilla oak, leather and dark fruit explode into a heavenly bouquet. On the palate, flavors of dark blackberries, plums, cola, coffee beans and anise seed mingle and are deftly balanced with wonderfully round tannins that continue into a long, creamy, lingering finish. This wine will continue to improve with time and can easily age through 2014.
