Accolades

In mid July this year, Wine Review Online reviewed our 2007 Belle Canyon and Big River zinfandels.  They were thrilled with what they tasted!  Paul Lukacs gave the Big River 92 points and said "It is beautifully balanced and very harmonious, with earthy undertones and an impressively long finish."  He was quite impressed with the signature bright fruit of the Belle Canyon zin and said "never feels hot or heavy. Instead, being marked by red berry fruit and a toasty finish, it tastes bright and fresh."  Thanks for the kind words Paul, we agree!

Back in May, our inaugural vintage of the tiny production Barrel 32 Lily Hill zinfandel was named as one of Quarterly Review of Wines' "Best of the Best" for CA zinfandel.  QRW were one of the lucky few other than our wine club members, who were able to taste this 50 case lot of delicious wine.

Wine and Spirits Magazine's February 2010 issue featured reviews for the Year's Best Zinfandel.  Bella Vineyards came out on top with a top-scoring 94 points for the 2007 Lily Hill Estate zinfandel! Download the PDF to check out what Wine and Spirits said about the Lily Hill zin.
