Harvest Dinner in the Cave

Bella Vineyards has hosted a handful of dinners in the wine cave over the past years. These dinners are a very special occasion with rich candlelight, wonderful wines and delicious food. 


This October evening is for wine club members and up to four friends, the cost is $175/person and the event begins at 6:30 PM.  Chef Todd Muir will prepare a seasonal menu for guests that will include delicious appetizers served in the barn with our secret "Slow Zin Fizz".  Guests will then be led to the cave, where a beautiful table will be set.  


Last Year's Menu:

First CourseDelta Sturgeon – Marinated with saffron and garlic, grilled and served with Romesco sauce, Tuscan white beans and roasted tomato salsa crudo. Served with Bella 2004 Belle Canyon zinfandel.

Second CourseOven Roasted Liberty Duck – Crispy roasted duck breast presented with a petite salad of mixed and bitter greens, fig chutney vinaigrette and goat cheese crostini.  Served with Bella 2005 Lily Hill zinfandel.

Main CourseFilet of Beef – Marinated and grilled natural beef with Late Harvest zin sauce, served over Gorgonzola risotto, butternut squash, baby carrots, petite mesclun and herbes salad.  Served with Bella 2002 Lily Hill syrah.

Dessert CourseChocolate Beet Cake – Chocolate and beet sponge layered with chocolate mousse and dusted with almond praline with huckleberries in red wine syrup and vanilla ice cream.   Served with Bella 2004 Late Harvest zinfandel.
