ella Vineyards farms three of the most distinct vineyards in Sonoma County; two in Dry Creek Valley and one in Alexander Valley on the edge of the Russian River. The mission of our winery is to make small lots of high quality wine from distinct parcels on these vineyards.

The family vineyard in Alexander Valley, Big River Ranch, is our flagship vineyard. This century old zinfandel vineyard has been the source of many incredible wines over the years. The naturally low crop level produces intense flavors of black berry, chocolate and black pepper that are quite unique to the vineyard and remarkably consistent year after year.

The Lily Hill Estate Vineyard is in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. The 85 year old vines at this vineyard provide the backbone of the estate zin. The fruit results in wines that exhibit the elegance, depth and intense black fruit flavors that are hallmarks of old vine zinfandels from Dry Creek Valley.

Finally, Belle Canyon Vineyard is the source for distinct fruit from the east side of the Dry Creek Valley. The old clone zinfandel on this ranch produces wine with complex flavors of red raspberries, spice and coffee.
